JK-SK : FUN ART

Give your beginning artist the opportunity to learn the basics of art-making and appreciation. These classes focus on the process of creating 2 and 3-dimensional works of art and teach your child new ways of expressing themselves, and solving problems.

Gr.1-3 Art expression

Students will be introduced to drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, story art, crafts and sculpture. We will create 2 and 3-dimensional works of art that allow students to explore a wide variety of materials and techniques.

There is a presentation time after each project is finished.
1. Thinking (Develop thinking skills & creativity)

3. Presentation (Improve confidence develop speaking skills)

We aim to provide integrated education that not only improves artistic expression skills but also fosters flexibility of thinking and presentation skills.

Gr.4-6 Art Exploration

Students in this class will be introduced to a variety of drawing, painting techniques and sculpture. Learning to draw using perspective, shading and proper proportion will help students draw realistically, and will provide a solid foundation for developing their painting skills. Using watercolour and acrylic paints, students will learn colour theory and brushwork as they explore realistic and abstract painting.

Gr.4-6 Comic & Cartooning class

Calling all creative comic book, manga, and cartoon drawing lovers who are eager to express themselves creatively AND have FUN in the process! In this engaging and inspiring comics, cartoons, and manga drawing art class, learn to express yourself creatively while tapping into your inner artist! Learn the fundamental techniques of drawing comics, cartoons and manga while unlocking your unique artistic voice and personal, authentic self-expression. Explore and discover the tips, tools and techniques necessary for drawing comics, manga and cartoons, and receive expert instruction from a professional artist and educator from our art studio!

In this interactive, FUN art class, you will:

Learn specific comic, cartoon, and manga drawing techniques combined with the encouragement for personal self-expression

Previous art experience or lessons are not a requirement to join our studio. Our students are grouped together by age and/or skill level. Our school is unique in offering fine tuning professional portfolios, after school and specialty courses.

Our students typically stay with us full year and more. payment system is monthly.
It is not mandatory to stay with us full year and students can join at any point in the term.
